2026 Discover Boating New York Boat Show Javits Center, Manhattan
The Discover Boating New York Boat Show was held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan from January 21–25, 2026 — part of the longest-running indoor boat show tradition in the U.S., dating back to 1905.

What You Experienced
We visited on Wednesday and Thursday, and noted the show felt more consolidated this year with one main large hull filled with exhibitors and manufacturers. The format focused on powerboats, marine products, electronics, and service providers.
Highlights — Boat Brands & Exhibitors
A strong lineup of well-known boat builders and dealers included:
Sea Ray — showcasing new lines of boats.- Tiara Yachts — exhibiting models such as the 39 LS and 43 LE.
- Viking, Beneteau — with new models on display.
- Boston Whaler, Cruisers Yachts, Formula, Grady White, Pursuit, Regal, Bayliner and more
You also saw marine electronics and navigation brands such as Garmin, Ray Marine, Navitech, and Sitex, consistent with the show’s broader gear/technology presence.
Various marinas and service groups from New York and New Jersey were on hand, including the Safe Harbor network (e.g., Port Washington and Haverstraw), which are among the largest marina groups in the U.S. Their presence highlighted local boating infrastructure and seasonal services.
Notable Absence — Sailboats
You correctly noted a lack of sailboat manufacturers this year compared with past shows. The only noticeable sailboat presence was smaller classic vessels (e.g., Sunfish), unlike earlier years when more sailboat builders participated.
Marine Police and Coast Guard was present very nice at the event with many attendees
